VT Seats

Anyone know how I can improve the drivers seat in terms of Lateral support?

I am happy enough to swap in a different front seat - if anyone knows a decent one that fits (later model maybe ?)

Iva installed SS seats in my acclaim, and like the standard seats, the side bolsters fail rapidly. I could get an aftermarket retrim with custom foam padding but I thing a different seat would be better.

Anyone have any experience here ?

asin they are squished due to use?

maybe retrim... see what that costs. if it's not worth it try find a wrecked vt 2 and see if the seats in that are any better.

Why don't you try installing an aftermarket seat? The racing style seats available at Repco and Autobahn might fit the bill.

If you can find them the coulsens from some HSV's (Vt clubbys in particular) are awesome, if only i could find them for the right price....

Hi Guys, already is a VT2 - and yes the very low side bolsters fail easily.

Has to be a better seat thats a simple swap somewhere

Coulsons sound like what you are after.

I want some too, and have been watching ebay for almost a year in hope. But whenever they come up, they are out of my price range. The other place would be NVU, for just the foams, get them covered and put on the frames and bases... still too dear for me.
