castor bushings/radius rod..3 hours labour?

mechanic wants to charge me 3 hours of labour to change castor bushings/Z radius rod, is this right? He says they need to be presses out, I have a V6 VT. Thanks for your advice

nope, they're tricky but they definately don't need to be pressed out, I did mine myself, They take a bit of encouragement but not to any serious extent.

my mate who is an apprentice mechanic did mine in about 20 - 30 mins. the metal insert in the new bush may need to be pressed/pushe in with some effort, but this depends on what brand yuo get and isn't that difficult at all, you'll need a bench vice at most.
It's really just a bolt off bolt on job.
