    Default Oxy Sensor

I have been beaten again by my VT. A couple of months ago I changed one of the oxy sensors due to an error code. Tonight I thaught I would change the other one just to keep them as a pair (the right one). The left one was really simple, unplug, plug and use a spanner to tighten it up.

The right hand side plug is right above the auto trans and I simply can't get my hands up onto the plug. Does anyone have an easy solution to get at the plug other than drop the trans a bit?

I am not sure who put the plug where it is but thats just stupid.

I had a hell of a time with that plug myself. I just kept at it until I got it. It would probably be easier if the car was on a hoist.

Dissapointingly, my fuel consumption appeared to remain the same, as did the performance! The ones I removed had done 180,000K's.

Try and lever the socket off its mounting position behind the cylinder head, when it's hanging loosly away from the motor,(you will be able to see it from the top) it's easier to get your finger tips on it to push it apart!
