hi guys, this may be a stupid question to some people, but its really pissing me off and i cant find a solution, i recently got a vt v6 commodore, its an executive model.
now on the dash you can change modes as you all know, odometer, fuel till empty, distance till location, trip metre etc etc.
my problem is when i purchased this car, the dash mode was saying how fast i was going (60km an hour etc etc)
i have tried going through the modes to find the option again, but to no avail, is it possible to get it back to the speed reading on my dash? if so how?
thanks for your time!
Hold the MODE button and the right arrow button down while you start the car.
you can then scroll through and find the digital speedo.
once you turn the ignition off, it will reset back to normal mode and youll have to do it again.
If you have a Police Pack cluster, the digital speedo is activated already and will be permanently displayed, and should always be showing when you start the car.
yes i agree its the fact it is either a ex police issue or has been changed via the cluster only.
ahh yes it worked, although like you said when i started the car it was gone, is there anyway to make it stay on the speedo? cheers.
Go down to Holden and they should be able to do it for you.
