    Default Kalmaker tuner in Sydney

Can someone recommend a tuner in Sydney (preferably western - Parramatta/Penrith etc) that has Kalmaker? I need a minor fuel-flow related mod to my VT V6 supercharged's memcal.

I had previously dealt with a particular business in Adelaide (who has done excellent work for me before) however these days they seem to be impossible to reach and/or too busy to talk to me (or might have gone out of business who knows).

If anyone can assist me it will be appreciated (send me a PM if you prefer). Thanks.

Dicks electronics. He doesn't use Kalmaker but can write to it if your car is already tuned on it or he has his own software with plenty of runs on the board

All I need to do is change one thing - I'll try an explain it simply.

The engine computer (PCM) generates a "fuel usage output signal" which is sent to the dash cluster via the Red/Black serial data wire. This signal is interpreted via the trip computer which then makes the "fuel used" etc displays work.

I have a dual-fuel setup on my V6 Supercharged, but it's aftermarket so doesn't use a dual-map memcal as the factory LPG Ecotec cars do. So when my car is running on LPG, the PCM still generates a "dumb" petrol usage signal meaning my trip computer's fuel displays are way out. I know you can adjust the fuel usage plus or minus 20% (i.e. between 80% and 120% via the cluster's "hidden" functions etc) but the LPG figures are out by more than 20%.

That gets to why I want to modify my memcal. I do 98% of my driving on LPG, so i'm happy to have the PCM permanently generate a "LPG" fuel usage signal (set at say 14-15L/100km or whatever, rather than the usual 9-10L/100km petrol figure). I'm told it is possible to modify this figure (which is stored in the memcal) using suitable software such as Kalmaker.

I know it's putting you on the spot chargedvx6, but do you reckon that "Dicks Electronics" bloke's software could do this?

dicks will be able to do it for sure. how accurate it will be really is the thing being that its based off injector openning times and maf readings it will be way out in certian areas depending on how the lpg mixer is delivering fuel for crtian conditions i wouldnt be using it to estimate distance to empty to much LOL
