    Default Fuel Line removal tools for Fuel Filter

    Can the fuel line removal tool 5/16 and 3/18 be used to remove the clips on the fuel filter ?

    No tool is needed, push the plastic connector towards the filter, squeeze the tangs on the connector and pull it away from the filter. It may require some force.

    It might be a bit difficult without jacking it up or using ramps. Also, remove the fuel pump fuse and start the engine and let it stall, this will de-pressurise the system so fuel won't spray all over the place. Be careful as some fuel will still be in the filter.

    and give the clips a slight twist while trying to get them off, can help.
    less timing.... more boost!
