    Cool VT has dead spot

Hi I have a 1999 vt Acclaime series II a few months ago I did the 190000 service myself just oil' filter'oil' gycol and fuel filter since then I have a dead spot in acceleration. First third od pedal ok middle nothing last third ok. This has gradually got worse and now it's gertting warmer the air conditioner makes it worse. Going up hills is bad it's either dead slow or flat out. I thought it mighrt be a vacume leak but don't know where to start to look can anyone help thanks in advance.

    Default VT Has Dead Spot

    HI
The fuel filter is on the right way had bigger problems develop since post Gear box, ABS & traction lights came on intermittently and if the oil light came on with them temp guage wouldn't work as well as the air conditioner. Then the car wouldn't start unless I pressed the unlock button on the key, Then that didn't work had to hot wire the fuel pump wire from the power wire on the pump to the fuse box under the dash. Thats how I have it running at the moment bit the bullet and had holden do a diagnostic check told me the ABS module was shot and they disconnected it so the diagnostic machine could comunicate with the computer wouldn't with it connected. Mechanic said take it home and disconnect the battery terminal over night big mistake on the way home no dead spot good acceleration next day reconnected the battery terminal huge dead spot back would not go over 20k's for the first couple of kilometers. Took it back to holden today they sort of fixed it but besides wantin $900 for the ABS modual they tried to talk me into a tuneup they also said there was no comunication between the crank caase sensor and a couple of other things and were generous enough not to charge me for their stuff up.
