    Default Multiple warnings

I am getting multiple warnings illuminating all at the same time when I drive. Low oil pressure, low coolant, abs warning, traction control stays illuminated when it should be on as well. The car has just had a service and none of these faults would actually be there. The only mechanical problem that’s occurred during the warnings is that my power steering becomes nowhere near as responsive and feels almost like its stopped altogether. Although the past few times the warnings have happened the steering has been fine.
Anyone has any ideas what the hell it could be???

    Cheers

Sounds like the ABS module is faulty. It seems to be a common problem.

You can get them a bit cheaper on ebay, but as mrVT said, get it checked out first because although the symptoms are similar to a faulty ABS module, I can't say it is for sure. Sometimes cleaning the terminals on the ABS module with some electrical circuit cleaner can help .
If I remember correctly, if you unplug the ABS module and the oil light goes out, then it is the problem.

I my be a little off here but its worth checking recently my alternator died on my VS statesman while driving , if you keep driving while the battery isnt getting charge everything starts to shut down
injectors ,gearbox etc but first you will get every warning light illuminating and a loss of power exactly as you mentioned until the computer hasnt got enough power ,so it could be a sign of a faulty alternator it might be chargeing just enough to keep things running

check if your a/c is working. if the abs module is at fault, the a/c won't be working. and if, as above, unplugging the abs module makes all the lights besides abs and tc go out, and a/c works again, fair bet ABS module is faulty.

The alternator is fairly new so its still under warranty, might get it checked. I'm getting tech 2 plugged in on Monday, so I hope its something cheap to fix.

my VT did this like 2 weeks ago. all lights were on, there was a different audible tone, no aircon, no cruise control, no temp signal...

    abs module was the problem...
