Any wheel alignment experts here?
A few months back I had all new tyres and a wheel alignment and balance done right after I put all new bushes in.
Here are the results from that wheel alignment (only concerned about the front wheel alignment):
BEFORE
- Total Toe: +2.9mm
- Half Toe: LH +0.9mm RH +2.00mm
- Camber: LH -00°10' RH -00°32'
- Caster: LH +08°12' RH +08°47'
- King Pin Angle: LH +13°26 RH +13°19'
- Included Angle: LH +13°16' RH +12°47'
- Set Back: +00°05'
AFTER
- Total Toe: +2.0mm
- Half Toe: LH +1.1mm RH +0.9mm
- Camber: LH -00°16' RH -00°25'
- Caster: LH +08°15' RH +08°46'
- King Pin Angle: LH +13°26 RH +13°19'
- Included Angle: LH +13°10' RH +12°53'
- Set Back: +00°02'
Here are the results from the next wheel alignment done at a different store, about 7000km later:
BEFORE
- Total Toe: +6.9mm
- Half Toe: LH +4.6mm RH +2.3mm
- Camber: LH -00°20' RH -00°34'
- Caster: LH +08°26' RH +08°31'
- King Pin Angle: LH +13°52 RH +13°39'
- Included Angle: LH +13°32' RH +13°07'
- Set Back: +00°08'
AFTER
- Total Toe: +3.0mm
- Half Toe: LH +1.5mm RH +1.5mm
- Camber: LH -00°17' RH -00°32'
- Caster: LH +08°32' RH +08°31'
- King Pin Angle: LH +13°52 RH +13°39'
- Included Angle: LH +13°32' RH +13°07'
- Set Back: +00°09'
In additon to this, I also got them to check the wheel balance with the existing weights on:
LF: 15g - 20g
RF: 0g - 10g
LR 20g - 15g
RR 0g - 10g
What I would like to know is if that is normal for the wheel alignment and balance to be out that much 7000km later?
do u drive on rough gravel or potholed roads, train tracks speed bumps etc...?
