anyone removed plastic piece in hi/low beam area

I`m talking aboutt the little plastic thing that surrounds the hi/low globe making the light go around the sides then out instead of out I would like to try it out as the low beam is crap on my VX.

I`ve just put in narva +50`s an hour ago and ajusted the lights up as there aimed
directly down giving me a real dangerous night out on wedns
cutting a long story short holden put em there for a reason but sometimes you can improve on factory so anyone done this.

i think itd make it worse tbh

i know it wont make a difference because if you look at a h4 headlight globe it spreads light from the sides which hits the headlights reflector spreading the light on the road.

as you can see in this pic there is like a cap on the top so removing that plastic thing wont do a thing

Ok, the +50s and adjustment made a hell of a difference so yer the plastic thing can stay anyway.
