Exclamation High Performance Spark Plugs in a VX 3.8?

    Hey Guys,

i have an 02 VX Series II Exec and i have my routine full service due soon, just wondering what the go is with high performance spark plugs. Will they increase performance in any way compared to regular spark plugs? Are they worth the extra cash? Mind you the car engine is a stock 3.8L except for the exhaust where i have a Redback 2.5" Catback with a front muffler and straight pipe.

    Thanks.

The only real benefit from a set of 'high performance' plugs is a more consistent, clean spark. However, with a stock engine, it's pretty much pure wank factor. Maybe use some platinum plugs as they last longer, but thats as far as I'd go.

BPR6EFS-15 is the best plug you will need with your level of mods. Cheap and manufacturer recommended.
