question on model differences

Im just wondering about the strip on the doors and the strip below the doors on these vt commodores. One car has black and one white strips, im just wondering if the car with white is a different material or are both exactly the same just the difference in colour? thanks.

pretty sure they are the same thing just painted mate, im chasing some vx calais silver ones with the chrome strip

Yeah, they're the same models. You can easily remove or add different strips.

The first pic looks like painted VT Exec/Acclaim side strips. The VX Exec/Acclaim models have something similar to this too (maybe a slightly different shape).

The second pic looks like VT Berlina/Equipe side strips (the VT Equipe also used the same wheels as the VSII Calais). Berlina strips where unpainted black plastic with a chrome strip, whereas the Calais ones were painted. VX Calais side strips were slightly different to VT Calais (i.e. the chrome bits are rounded at each end).

The VT and VX models' door sheet metal grooves are all the same, so any of the above side strips will fit.
