Hi peeps
I'm planning on geting a car loan early next year and wanting a vt onwards commodore ina manual.
Just wondering if the VT has anything over the VX or is the VX the better out of the 2
thx
I may have broken the law, but that doesn't make it wrong!
VX For sure.
less timing.... more boost!
They got rid of a few problems in the vx that they had in the vt,if you are going to just get an exucutive get the vx.
VX by a mile mate![]()
If its got Wheels or Boobs its gonna cost ya money
Get a series 2 VX and save on rear tyres
there are three types of people in the world , those who can count and those who can't
cool, hoping for an spac with full electrics

VX Series 2 to be exact. They changed parts of the suspension in the Series 2 which helped with rear camber. Youll find that some VT and VX series 1 models chew through rears tyres because they suffer a common camber problem.
I think getting a 2nd model of the same shape is always a good idea, but I guess just go with what you can aford.
My mate has a VT and goes through two pairs of rear tyres for my one. VX all the way.
cheers guys
i'll try for a vx 2 which seem to be going for 8-13k here in perth. its all depends on what loan i can afford ;P.

I got a VX 2 exec wagon for just under $13k in 2006... Converted it to a manual recently for just under $1800 all up... Either way you can't go wrong(if you do the labour yourself and don't screw up)
I've never had problems with wearing the rear tyres out so I can vouch for that. It's not lowered yet though, so I don't know if camber problems show up when it's lower than standard.
