hay all got an aunger Cai for 60 buxs (so stooked)
but having a bit of trouble of fitting it cut the plastic off the top of the raiditor but still cant seem to make it fit properly any surgestions on where i could get it fitted or someone who can do it???
hmm.. i'm picking up mine tomorrow.. I'll let you know how i go putting it in.
Matt
there is another post about this, im gonna try and do mine this week, ill let you know how i go but looks hard from what ive been told
ok.. did mine today. was very simple.
Just cut the radiator plastic back, getting all the "higher" sections..
connect the pipe that goes to the airbox to the inlet section.. connect the pipe into the airbox as best you can.
put the screws in.. the re-adjust so you have no gaps at the inlet of the air box. I used some black duct tape to hold it securely to the airbox (inside the air box, connecting to the intake pipe). No cutting, no filing, no forcing.. seems to be working like a championLooks pretty sweet too!
matt
ok i am trying but just cant seem to get it to fit so if someone would like to fit it for me that would be great
lil reward in it for u for ur trouble
I fitted mine some time ago with no issues what so ever. What trouble are you having? Some have mentioned you may need to take to it with a heat gun to get it to sit right.

thanks did a lil
cant get this thing to fit properly i can get it in place but cant get thoes dam plastic screws to stay in so whats the next stepp any one lol
yeah the screws with it were terrible. i used a couple of decent scrivets from autobarn. I had to put lots of pressure down but the scrivets held it in place, the ones that came with it just popped out.
ok thanks mate ill go have a look there this week do u remeber what sized u used???
you could try the scrivets that came of the old intake? i used them on mine, seemed to be a little better than the aunger ones. just the put some of your weight over the thing to hold it in place and quickly pop a scrivet in. seemed to work for me? if its to outta wack to much the scrivet will pop out.. if that happens then try some more heavy duty ones from autobarn/bunnings.
yeah as owens said you have to put alot of weight onto it then slam in the scrivet. Ill let you know tonight which scrivet i used.
Good luck
