Howdy,
I have a VU 2001 series 2 5 speed ute, daily driven however lately i have been noticing a loud banging sound when i push the clutch pedal in to casually change gears. The noise is not as loud if i am driving normally, however when using the engines compressioon (say rolling down a hill) and go to change gears, something in the clutch makes a very loud rough banging sound and the whole car will jolt. its becoming so much more noticeable, not sure if its the clutch, pressure plate or flywheel does anyone have any ideas?

note that i have no trouble with gears slipping out or grinding, the clutch feels usually tight not sloppy
