electricals (i.e. instrument panel)

since i bought my VTII berlina in december last year, have noticed a few little problems. one of the most annoying is the instrument panel. when driving at night, only half of the speedometer lights up (the left-hand side is a bit faint and can just read the numbers). how big a job is this to repair? and can i do it myself (i.e. is it just a blown globe behind there or something)?

Should just be blown globes. You can buy them from Holden but they are not cheap. Do a search on how to remove instrument cluster for instructions. It has been discussed a lot, so you you should find something.
