Vt starting problems- help needed

Hi my vt has been running fine then yesterday I went to start it and it just starts and stops straight away.
Sometimes I turn the key and it does nothing so I'll move the gearstick into drive and back and it will then start, but as soon as it's cranked over it shuts off again, straight away before I can even rev it or anything.
This morning I changed the spark plugs and leads but still not going. Any ideas on what this might be? Thanks

its not the cas is it? just a thought, they can die instantly. Maybe try pouring freezing cold water over it and then give it a fire up and see if that works, if the water trick works its definatey you cas. even if it doesnt probably still cas

mate i had the exact same probem, best bets are one of two things.

1. try tightening the bolt of your transmission.
2. get a new keypad

i got a newkeypad, and now it starts first time, every time.
