sounds like the rubber is rubbing on the inside of your guard. What width tyre are you using as it may be too wide.

there 245s, and also from the bottom of the front spring theres like half a cm clearance from the tyre, i have noticed scuff marks on the inner gaurd could be from the tyre but it sits pretty high from the rim heres a pic.

It would probably be rubbing on the spring on the inside. As your car corners, the spring compresses. this can result a small growth of the spring outward. If at the same time, your turning, then the rubber might be touching on the spring. Easy check - Gaffa tape a piece of paper to the spring, taping it only at the top. Drive around afew corners, check paper for marks / tears.

The track is not allowed to be increased, so alot of wheels put there extra width on the inside of the rim. So your tyre is sits more inwards than you think.
