Smile VT V6 Clutches. Got Some Questions..

    Hey guys,
Avent been on forums for a while but hey life gets busy. So i sold the VR got a pos and now im in the market for a ute. Looking at getting a VU 5spd ute. Now the question i have is about the strength of the stock clutch on the VU's. Did a bit of research and the 6s push around the 150kw mark and ive always had a H/D clutch on my manuals but never had a VT/ VU so no knowledge there. Can anyone explain to me the type of punishment that the stock clutches can take? Ive heard that you upgrade the flywheel when you upgrade to a H/D clutch becuase of a different setup in the newer type models (2001 is new ok! lol). Whos had any experience or knows a bit about em?
    Thanks in advance.

From my experience, if its a dual mass flywheel setup. Bin and replace! Dual mass cost me so much money to replace and didn't last. Done a conversion cheap and easy never had a problem since.

However you do get a little extra noise and virbation but nothing to write home about.
