From my understanding you will require a complete kit form holden, or somewhere else if you can find it. It has to be wired to the accelerator and brake pedal (+clutch if manual) there is one or two threads around on what exactly is needed.

There is a plug hanging off your drivers side shock tower wiring loom - it is a brown plug - this plugs into the back of the cruise control module.
the Module bolts onto the tray next to the ABS module - youll see the empty try that im talking about.
The cable plugs into the back of the module, runs back along the firewall, around to the passenger side shock tower and then to the throttle body.
On the throttle body you will see where the accelerator cable is clipped on, just near it is another place to clip a cable onto - this is for the cruise control - clip the cable on there.
    engine bay is done.
Remove the upper steering column cover and unplug the blinker stalk - remove.
place cruise control stalk in, plug in to where the original was and locate a smaller plug and plug in the small wire loom that is on the stalk - replace steering column cover.
remove the fuse panel flap from under the steering column and locate the back of the brake pedal (look down the steering column) you will see a switch plugged in and a hole above it - this hole is for your brake switch which deactivates the cruise control when you push the brake pedal.
locate the plug that is taped to the steering column and plug the new brake switch into the rear most 2 plugs on the switch - if you plug it into the front 2 plugs the system wont work.
secure the brake switch into the hole and adjust so that:
when the brake pedal is not being used the switch is pressed in.
when the brake pedal is pushed, the switch is let out.
you may need to road test a couple of times to make sure the system is deactivating correctly when you apply the brakes.

Cruise control is now installed and ready to go.
if you dont have the plug hanging out near the drivers shock tower - you cant put cruise in without having to wire the whole car for it.
Fuses should already be in for cruise control too.

    thanks to davway!
