Want headlights and breaklights to turn automatically on my VT II SS

Hey all,

My mate has a VX Clubby and when he unlocks the car (at night) the headlights and breaklights come on.

How hard is this to do on my VT II SS ?

Whilst on this subject...well sort of....

I've also noticed that there is also an 'AUTO' function on the headlight switch which switches the headlights on in low light.

Can this be done on my car as well ?

The auto function i believe requires a dash sensor and correct BCM but is doable.

Autobarn sell a kit that you wire up to your headlights and has a sensor that you mount on your dash . think its about $20

In the owners handbook(calais) it tells you had to set and adjust timing of lights with the automatic function.chapter 1-25 refers Bit hard to type it all down for you
