hey ppl
just wondering if anyone can help me
i got this crecky noise in my steering only when i got my foot on the brake.......its getting a little worst atm.......
can anyone tell me whats wrong and how to fix it
cheers ct
where in your steering
i work at pedders we get a lot of this sort of stuff we find the noise but it takes an houre or two if it is hard to find
only thing i can think of is maby urathane bushes dose it have them
i would have to hear it could be lot of things but if you brake then it happens it has to be in the lower arm or radius bushes not in the rack or collum
i would take it to pedders cost you $14 and they will tell you cant beat that and no bull
yer its when i brake then it happens
ill take it in to pedders.......see what they say
cheers
my thoughts too, i had warped rotors they made a creak and sometimes a crunch noise although it could be the radius rod bushes, or the big damper ones at the front

yea warped rotors would be my best bet
sqeeking breaks are easy too hear
i would think if need to ask here it would sound bit worse
but yea i here the brake sound all the time it's not warped roters it's lose pads
worped rotors will vibrate the steering wheel
ford ba falcons have a bad knocking sound when the pads are lose
lots of brake nosie is in the pads
id say being a vt ss it would reqiure at least 70% of the suspension to be replaced if it hasnt been done yet.
i had it checked out n they sayin i need new power steering rack......
if so wat price am i lookin @.
