    where in your steering

i work at pedders we get a lot of this sort of stuff we find the noise but it takes an houre or two if it is hard to find

only thing i can think of is maby urathane bushes dose it have them

i would have to hear it could be lot of things but if you brake then it happens it has to be in the lower arm or radius bushes not in the rack or collum

i would take it to pedders cost you $14 and they will tell you cant beat that and no bull

my thoughts too, i had warped rotors they made a creak and sometimes a crunch noise although it could be the radius rod bushes, or the big damper ones at the front

sqeeking breaks are easy too hear

i would think if need to ask here it would sound bit worse

but yea i here the brake sound all the time it's not warped roters it's lose pads

worped rotors will vibrate the steering wheel

ford ba falcons have a bad knocking sound when the pads are lose

lots of brake nosie is in the pads

id say being a vt ss it would reqiure at least 70% of the suspension to be replaced if it hasnt been done yet.
