Hey all, About 18 months ago my better half had her 99VT converted to duel fuel. On LPG it played up sometimes then ran fine. We had it tuned several times during summer then during winter it ran excellently, Went for a cruise yesterday and it ran like a pigg on LPG. Opened the bonnet to see the converter iced over, I got serious about looking at it and found that the DH that did the conversion has hooked both heater hoses to the converter on the heater core side of the heater tap. Hence why it ran well in winter (had the heater in the car turned on)................
Now I know I only have to move one line, but which is it? Which line (feed or return) does the heater tap shut off the heater core?
Or can someone with their car converted have a look and tell me how their heater lines are run.
Cheers in advance
Vanda
Take a photo, and let me see. When i convertor ecotech on lpg, the only hose i use (removed) are the heater tap to engine one top smaller one. Removed that hose and one end goes to the convertor and then the other end goes to the other side of the convertor
