Where is the thermostat? L67 Charged VT

The thermostat does not appear to be in the same place as on the N/A motor.

My brother is having overheating problems (top hose hot, bottom hose cold - and hoping a new thermostat will save the day.

in the L67 engines it is located at the rear passenger side just above the boost solenoid.
Under the supercharger u bend towards the passenger side...

Ok - great, thanks for that. The next question is - does the blower have to come off to replace the thermostat ?

l'm quite sure it doesn't have to come off.

intake elbo does have to be removed

All you need to remove is the boost activator bolts and swivel it out of the way and a lot of patients ,make sure you get the right thermostat gasket and the rubber ring and dont pay any more than about $15 for a thermostat if you do you are being ripped
