    Default fuel sender

    Hello,

    Just recently i replaced my fuel pump.. and fuel gauge was reading correct with the warning light coming on with 50kms to go. but since i have replaced my pump it doesnt read correct goes empty with a 1/4 of a tank? can i fix this?

    mate you will most likely need a new sender, sounds like you've let it run too low on petrol and its conked out on you. make sure all your lines are fine too.

    yeah it did conk out on me coz i didnt no what it was so raa come out and said u have no petrol gay how much is a new sender?

    Go to holden, hand over 25buck and they will re-calibrate the sender for you.

    Had a similar issue but the other way round, guage showed 1/4 tank when I was running on fumes... I ran out of fuel twice before I worked out wtf was going on lol.

    So, they can be re-calibrated Jester??. Is this done though the ecu or cluster??

    You can re-calibrate though your cluster.
