G'Day all,
I've just put my car in for a blue slip to change my rego to NSW and they came back with a few issues. They've told me I need to replace my rear shocks and front Z-Bar bushes. The place doing my blue slip has quoted $550 for the work, does this sound right or am I being ripped off? Also should these things need replacing at 115,000 Km?
Car is a 2001 VX II Lumina
Cheers
No accidents that I'm aware of.
Is that with parts? I paid $600 for a suspension shop to replace just the Z bushes on my VS.
It is a little pricey but find out how much the parts are going to cost you then if you are mechanically minded and the price is substantially less do it yourself. If you are only going to save a couple dollars get them to do it to save you the hassle.
