i wanna put a sunroof in my vt any of you guys have any idea on how much it will cost and where i can get it done

sounds dodgey to me, the novelty will wear off soon after fitting and you will be left with something you paid a lot of money for but dont want, they all leak in time and they all rust, my g/f 92 mazda has no rust exept in the sun roof, she hates it, think carefully before letting anyone cut your roof apart

i think that sunroofs are about $2250 if you go to a holden dealer, something like that, not 100% sure

hey man, sunroof is great if you get it done properly. you should actually use the mob that holden use cause they are never factory fitted they get them done by a company it costs about the $2200 mark. if you have the cash go for it but for that amount of money you can just put the chicks head out the window!

If u want the real deal sunroof that will look factory and not just a cheap pop up roof the brand to look for is hollandia. These are the same ones holden use. They aren't cheap as others have mentioned a bit over $2k. We looked into getting one a couple of years ago but decided to put it off until the car has a few more ponies.

sunroofs look awsome and i love them, but dont you guys think over $2k is a bit too much just for a sunroof, because if you think about it, you can do alot of other good things to the car for $2k, but hey, if i had a good and 2k on the side, i wouldnt think about it 1sec hehe

Thats why I buy cars already fitted with sunroofs

On the leaking part, I have a factory sunroof in my VL Calais & VT SS, the only time one of them ever leaked on my head, was when I forgot to close it while sticking my tounge out at my G/F while she was watering the garding

lol dude hehe, but yeha you are right, buying a car with sunroof already fitted is beter than buyin it separate, thats the same with a supercharger, like id never give my money away for a supercharger in my vx now, id rather put a bit more when buyin the actual car.
