remove the foot rest in vt

hey guys has anyone removed the dam metal bracket foot rest? if so what did you do, i really dont want to remove the carpet.

just converted to manual and i just clip the side when changing gears

uhmm... isn't there just 2 screws on the side of the foot rest. Unscrew them and it'll come off?

yeah already removed the plastic bit and that has helped i was looking to remove the metal bracket underneath but probably doesnt matter as dont catch my shoes on it anymore, thanks.
