Ok, i've got a knock noise coming front the passenger side, It only happens when the body rolls in that direction eg. Roundabout, Corners etc.
I've been to a local suspension place and had replaced
Link Bush's to Front Sway Bay,
Castor Bar/Control Arm Bush's,
Strut top bushes & bearings
Alignment
Its got 18s on the front, Slightly lowered, 700 bucks down from the above and the problem is still there! Any ideas? or is it serious enough to be concerned about? They looked over everything and found the above as possibility's
Have you ever heard the knock under heavy acceleration?
I used to have a knock from the front passenger side under heavy acceleration and around bumpy corners.
It turned out to be a stuffed engine mount. Check the condition of yours.

I have the same problem. Buggered if i know what it is. doesnt do it under acceleration.
after looking in the faults thread i found this
Steering Knock - After long drives, or high operating temperatures, some VT's have an audible clunk in the front end, that may be felt through the steering wheel on turns. A possible cause can be excessive movement of the inner tie rod end of the steering rack. A revised tierod was introduced into new steering racks early in 2001.
Could be it?
