no interior lighting

hi all i ahve come to notice that since i have taken out my roof light on the vt to us a power for roof mount screen i have no interior lighting such as around the ignition key and floor bulbs,how can i fix that so thay work and keep the screen.....any ideas and dont say run seperate wire for the screen also i have a sunglasses holder for up the front that i will be putting in soon,do i have to buy vy/vz roof carpet to put this in....thanks....jason

fuse in fuse box under steering wheel. for all interior lighting that you mentioned. maybe you blew it

no,what im saying is that now i have cut the interior light plug to use power for my roof mount lcd,i dont get and interior lights,ie key surround and floor lights....

I just jumped in my VT II S and the key surround etc works on the switch thats on the roof interior light.
If its set to on - they will all stay on, if its set to door - they all go on and off with the doors and if its set to off (in your case maybe completely unplugged) then none of them turn on.

i know that mattyc,it used to be like that on mine when the roof light was in but now ive cut that to use my lcd,but was wondering do i have to put another light in the roof,as i plan to put a vy roof carpet and console in and am going to change it around once again so i have lights....preety dark in the car with no lights.....
