Hey guys,
I am new to this website and commodore ownership so am hoping to pick the brains of anyone who may have been in this situation.
I bought a vx2 commodore around 7 months ago. After driving it for a month, there was a bad misfire, and the dealer changed one coil, all the leads and spark plugs. Soon after this, the battery died and I had it replaced.
Once the battery was replaced, the engine seemed to take longer to crank. Often it will take around 4-6 seconds before it kicks over (even when not first or cold start). Before, it only took half a crank to start. I also notice sometimes there is a rough idle where it feels like the engine struggles (tacho rpm dips to around 500rpm for a second) before it turns good again. No error codes are registered on the cars computer.
Other than this the car has no problems. My mechanic seems a little stumped too.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
cheers,
Mitch
