what I had for a while is two 30cm neon tubes under the front seats. One neon per seat and they lit up the carpets in the front and the back :P
But cant be bothered cabling them properly so took them out.

Will look good. post the pics up

yee i couldnt be bothered getting it into a groundcable and all that... so i just wired a 4 port 12V attachment to my center console, got 2x30 cm tubes under dash in the front and a fat neon that hits up the boot and glows into the car when the center rear seat is down. makes the boot look nice as in the night.

    Default will this work?

Im about to install footwell neons and was wondering if this circuit will work?
    sorry about the quality

the switch is what worries me the most (the serperate box). because it only has 2 tabs, i have 1 positive going IN, and 2 wires coming out. will i lose power by doin this?

    just a thought

    cheers.

The only problem I can see is that you are putting neons in your car, besides that it should work.

I had foot well lights in my Calais and since there a 12V sorce i simply cut the bulb and rewired in the neons. Used the double sided tape and placed them up in the foot wells.

I just hooked mine up to the electric windows under the switches, that way when you turn the car off and get out they stay on for like 40 seconds untill the window realy drops out so looks good when you stop and jump out.

Before cutting any old wire check the current draw of the item you wish to install . wiring them into a circuit that was designed for so much current load and is fused to that load only you could in the end overload the circuit burning out fuses and wiring in the end . use a relay to control load and current draw . if unsure consult a auto elec for wiring tips
