hey guys
i SEMI-installed my clarion head unit today
bought all the ISO harnessess, they work sweet, going to buy that interior pocket/filler panel thing this week sometime, no dramas there
my question is to do with correctly securing the head unit in the space
its hard to explain the situation but ill give it a crack - when i push the head unit in its right up against the sides of the space and the aerial wire slot on the clarion is in a slightly wider position than the factory tape player and as a result its fouling on a piece of the metal inside the pocket not allowing me to push it in all the way, apart from that it fits nicely on the bottom of the pocket, if i try and put it in the top of the slot the back squashes in barely but the front falls down
i just wanna know if theres any specific way i can stabilize the head unit in the slot?
or will if be all good when i get the mazda/holden pocket thingy?
i hope you all understand my question haha, cheers guys

with the double din slot it's best to put the HU on the top and theres a storage box type thing(can't remember the name) that you can buy that fits in snuggly below the HU to complete the install. It sounds like you havn't even screwed in the metal jacket that supports your HU yet, that would be why its falling down
