VT Door Lever Fail.

hi Everyone.

Drivers side external door lever doesnt seem to want to work.

Central locking and manual windows

Have stripped the door trim off, looked at the mech, dropped out the door lock itself, and nothing appears broken. The vertical push bar that the door handle operates travels freely. Theres a green bushing at the base of it that appears to push part of the catch mech down, if the lock is released. This seems to travel normally.

I didnt have the time to strip the catch mech thoroughly, it was getting dark.

Is there a common problem with door locks ? i presume a new catch mech would solve it, but it's always smart to ask questions.

sorry Tsunamix a bit off topic but how did you get the locks out i know there is a page that tells you how but i cant do it, have followed all instrucions do i just rip the lock up or push in then up or what can u help please as all my specker sarrounds are broken chiped ect
