hey guys, yesterday going around a roundabout some old lady pulled out onto me causing me to swerve into the kerb roundabout nd scratched my 20s and hit the right wheel pretty hard. was all fine to drive for a while, then bout 10 hours later was driving on a straight, and started to hear a metal tinny tapping noise? thought it might have been something in my wheel but couldn't see a thing, then thought maybe a wheel nut had come off and was stuck in the center piece of the mag, but no, all lugs tightened showing no signs of coming off, checked wheels surroundings, nothing rubbing? it doesnt just do it as i go around bends either, and it still clicks with the engine off freerolling, as well as reversing? i know my cars due to have new break pads, as far as that, i am stumped by what it is? Does anyone have any idea?
Sorry, i have a 1999 commodore vt berlina thats bagged in the rear, stock springs in front
anyone? taking to mechanic tomorow, is it safe to be driving...
when you find out what it was post it up here it might help me with a similar problem
yeh will do mate, just thought a professional might have been able to give me a heads up with what could cause a tinny noise
is it rear? could be cv joint possibly

Guessing but maybe some weak part of the front end has been moved and coming into contact with your disc.
Maybe bent the backing plate onto the disc.
Is the noise there all the time?
not all the time, it will roll id say a full 5 spins then a tinny click
front wheel bearing
try the brake pads. tell tale click for replacing same
Thanks for help guys, but it was my swaybar! $140 fix
