    Default Wheel Alignment Issue

    Hey Guys,

Since i bought my Stato its always tracked slightly to the left even after 2x wheel alignments.

Today we rotated the tyres (Straight front to back swap on each side) And now the steering wheel is at a 45 deg angle left when driving in a straight line.

Im assuming something is wrong with the tyre/wheel that was on the front left, Anyone have any idea what?

    Thanks
    Dan

Not the same issue, Tires aren't directional, and it tracks perfectly straight now (Different brand same size tyres on front now)
Only difference being the steering wheel isn't straight when driving in a straight line since rotating.

    that's a pretty serious problem if it's at a 45..

could it be something bent? eg bent steering rack, axle control arms etc?

that or it could just be that the person aligning it didnt do it properly?

I once experienced a front tyre quite noticably causing the old kingswood to pull to one side. It was an identical size, brand and same amount of wear as the other 3. I solved the problem by running it only on the rear and then as a the spare. I was told at the time it was probably caused by faulty manufacture.

Some people set the steering wheel straight when driving straight even though the car pulls to one side. Now that it drives straight, the wheel is out. Get it aligned again and it should fix your problem. I'm guessing one of the tyres that are now on the back was at fault.
