hey everyone i have a vt commy and i was think about puttin a lukey exhaust and pacemaker exstractors on it.. and was just wonderin wat size 3 inch or 2.5....... this is my first car so realy dont know anythin lol.... and was just wonderin wat a hotdog is lol

2.5 inch is the most you should go.

correct me if im wrong but a hotdog is like a straight through type of muffler doesnt quiten the exhuast as much as normal muffler would

no a hotdog isnt illegal, just go a redback 2.5 system with one muffler or muffler and rear hotdog both will sound good for a 6

3" will work best when the engine is tuned correctly for the reduced back pressure . draw back thou is it will drone like a bitch and most likely earn you an EPA notice for high db's .
for a everyday driver stick with the 2.5" less hassles from the boys in blue .

300 - 400 fitted for a 2.5 cat back could be more could be less, ring up an exhuast place tell them what u want and how much it will cost

3 inch will be to big your engine, you will have no back pressure. Sure it will be loud and droney if that's what you want, but it will be shit.

Yes a hotdog replaces the muffler. It reduces the drone a little.

have one center muffler and if its too loud get a rear hotdog put on

extractors could cost 600 to 700 pacemakers aint cheap cat back system 250 to 300 depends who you ring . always use a muffler hot dogs are for the rear to reduce drone and i would recommend you fit one .

is ur car manual or auto? if auto will drone like hell and u wont get tht sound, if manual u will get some burble nothing like a v8 tho
