hey guys iv got a few questions>>>>
i have got a 2000 model vt series 2 stock as..
and i wont a set of 20 inch cromys on it soon...
as a series 2 will i need a camber kit??????
and i wanna just put king springs ... low....
will it all go well or am i lookin at a lot of money to get were i wanna go
i dont realy mind bumps or anythin like that,,,
so all help is appreciated
depends how low u wanna go but yes id get a camber kit, vts love to chew tires
i have a 99 VT series 2 excutive with 17in wheel and low profile tyres (lowered kings) my question is do i need a camber kit too??? easy to fit? can i fit me self or does it need wheel alignment afterwards? thanks
i'd recommend any lowered Vt get a camber kit.
again can i fit camber kit my self or does it need extra wheel aligment after ie take it to a shop to fit?????
so will 20s fit with low springs ..... or will i need the gards rolled????????
as well im gettin a gto monaro kit 4 it will 20s fit in them aswelll......
u will def need a camber kit or even change the rear k frame to a vx series2 onwards as have the toe in adjustment built into it, if u go that way u will only need a wheel alignment done on the rear... im fittin a vy or vz rear k frame into my vt early next year, finding something newer(ie vz) will have less wear on the rear end..
i got a vx on 19s with ssl in it... i recommend rolling your guards before putting a camber kit in..
itll rub like anything..
ok thanx guys i dont wanna go too low so im just getiin sl in the rear atm till i have some spare money.... as well as the 20s i have to wait lol.....anyone on here that has a set of 20s they wanna sell....
If you get the right offset on the rims ie them actually made to suit the car they shouldn scrub at all....
and theres no point changin to a newer model cradle, the s1 cradle has the mounts for the toe/camber arm its the body that doesnt have other mount
no you cant fit the camber kit yourself
so .... just to make everythin clear i wanna put 20s on it so i will need a camber kit and the gards rolled.... a 4 point or a 2.... and does a local pannel beater do the rolling or someone special......
and again anyone have some 4 sale???????
4 point kit for sure mate, that will cover toe in and camber issues... for guard rolling call a few local smash repairers and ask, if they dont they might know of someone that does it
anyone know how much it will be to put a camber kit in at the shop>????
