vt commy stopping when hot,

Hi all,
have a problem with my vt v6 cutting out when its warm, starts again if i cool the coils and mod with water or disconeect batt for a bit,i have replaced , crank sensor coils , and module leads etc, its fine when cold and though the winter months now getting a few hot days it doing it heaps in rush hour traffic, do the vt's cut out if coolant to hot , ie fault temp sensor or thermost, blocked rad? the top hose is very hot to touch, some one suggested the harmonic balancer too... any suggestions would be great as its getting more fecquent ,

just checked codes , 92 low speed rad fan.. could be causeing it to run to warm?
