    Default A little internal help.

Hi guys, i aint posted in ages.....not to sure why, just busy i guess.

Anyway, can someone/anyone recommend an upgrade for the auto shift stick and hand brake cover. The stock ones look terrible, plastic and rubber.

I think i need something thats easy to install, something like Autotecnica perhapes? Nice and simple, pull the old ones off and put the new stuff on with a turn of a screw or two.

Anything out there that fits the bill? 2001 VT Commodore by the way.

    Thanks all.

What about fitting the shifter/handbrake from another model?

the calais/berlina/statesman/hsv are leather + chrome type buttons.
likewise the interior door handles are chrome finish.

    just a thought.

Would i need to swap year for year? EG 2001 Berlina for my VT Commodore 2001?

VT-VX have pretty much same interiors. so 99-02 should be right for a straight swap.
not sure of a place on the net.. maybe have a look on trademe or Ebay at VT-VX Calais/Statesman etc cars for sale.. and see what you think from the interior pics?

    or try nvu.com.au or holmart.com.au

I've found that the 2001 Calais is the sort of thing i'm after. I've asked for prices from a guy on Trademe. Might have a look around Ebay as well.
I see you drive a Calais Beaker, so you know what i'm talking about. Good looking cars!

And surpisingly Ebay.com.au has almost nothing. I would have thought that Ebay would have been much bigger than Trademe.
