    Resetting the service due reminder.
“With ignition off press arrow up and down arrow together then switch ignition on,
after 3 seconds release arrows, then momentarily press mode button,
then press arrow up and down arrow together for 3 seconds, then release arrows, then switch ignition off”

I think he means the trip meter not the service reminder.

You should just hold the up/down arrows then release and it should reset if not then poss a problem with the cluster..

If you wanted to you could try taking the neg terminal off the battery and if it reset that way might end up being a prob with the up/down buttons.. Do the up & down button control the menu options ok..
