How do i go about getting VE mags re machined to fit my VX series 2? i have heard they do not fit straight on, where on the gold coast would i take them and how much would it usually cost to get them adapted? thanks
You might want to do a bit of research on the wheel nuts as well, the VE has thicker diameter wheels studs than the VX so the stud holes in the VE wheels are larger, the VE's have larger nuts to suit the thicker VE studs. So the smaller VX nuts probably don't have the same contact area as they should. I think a lot just use them anyway but I would be a bit concerned and probably source some new nuts that fitted better. Last thing you want is to lose a wheel. I might be wrong but the smaller VX nuts aren't really designed for the VE wheels.
The centre bore needs to be machined.
I suggest you just ring around some local wheel stores and just ask, if they say no ask if they know anyone.
