Hi
When im driving along with the aircon on my car drives alright but once i give it abit (accelerate) i hear a watery noise coming from behind the drivers side dash yet when i dont have the aircon on i dont here the noise, i thought it was blocked so i had the mechanic make sure it wasnt blocked and he didnt find any probs. Does anyone have any ideas what the problem could be.
Thanks
I used to own a couple of Subarus. That was a common problem with them, the watery noise behind the dash. I have no idea if it's the same with Holdens but it was caused by air in the coolent system. The way to fix it on Subarus was to take the radiater cap off when the engine was cold, start the car up and squeeze the rubber water pipes to get the air out.
Hope this helps.
Thanks i will give that a try in the morning
There is a bleeding screw in the thermostat housing. With the engine at normal operating temperature, undo that screw slightly to let any air out and then screw it in again when only coolant is coming out. Repeat a few times to make sure all the air is out. Be careful, it will be very hot.

I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.
