Would it not be more beneficial to you to fix the leak properly?

get it checked by a mechanic as soon as you can. I had a leak and got it checked by a mechanic. It was in the steering rack. $800 for parts + fitting

I used lucas power steerind stop leak for a small leak and it is now all good.

syringe out the amount of fluid to be replaced and all is well.

no need for new rack in my case

hahaha, i did mine for around $200, fitted it myself.

I regret not trying lucas power steering stop leak as I hear it swells worn seals, so what could be wrong with that? Couldn't hurt to try it even if it only last 10 or 20 thousand kays, that would still be a win.

check where the leak is 1st it might just be the o ring that has perished on the bottom of the power steering pump

I put a $20.00 kit through mine and it is now working like a dream no leaks any where, all you need is a little grey matter between your ears.
