A heat gun and a Rubber head hammer, does the job. I did mine the same way, works really well. Get the heat gun on the bend so that when tap with the hammer the paint does not crack. Only use small taps but with enough force to bend the whole guard. Very easy to do, i wouldn't pay someone else to do it.

You could always try rolling the guards to the outside, they'll give you extra downforce so you can go faster.......

iv also heard of people running a stanley blade along the crease so it cuts the caint, thus stopping it fron chipping away when you 'hit' the lip.. iv hearp of getting a piece of pipe and rolling it between the guard and the tire, with pressure and rolling the car back and forth so it pumps the guard out.. thats kinda dodgy tho.. leaves a rippled look on the guard..
