Default What to do with rusty looking hubs.

Yes as the thread name suggests i have rusty looking wheel hubs. Is this a common problem with Holdens? I haven't encountered it before in other cars.

All i can think to do is pull the wheels off, emery paper the rust off the hubs to get back to bare metal then spray paint them in a silver or black paint.

Do you guys have any other opinions or sollutions?

Take them off, rub em back a little bit, then spray paint em black or silver. Otherwise buy stock wheels with hubcaps to hide the problem.
