Drove my new/secondhand Berlina last night, probably the first time I had driven it of a night time since buying it. I noticed that the green LCD display for the climate control was only half lit up. I did a couple of searches on here and found a bit of info on this lighting, but just want to confirm that the lights for this LCD display are soldered into position and are not just a push in type set up. Would I also be right in assuming that there are only two lights on this LCD display?
Any help would be appreciated.
Theyre just wedge globes AFAIK, one half of mine are blown as well but ive been 2 lazy to replace them![]()
few of mine are out as well... but thats the least of my problems with that car!![]()
DanVN is right, they are wedge globes. I have changed one of mine previously, pain in the butt cause you gotta pull the stereo out, take the dash fascia off then unscrew the climate module etc. I have had another one go on my climate LCD now, and I am also too lazy to change it!!![]()

since wen r they the wedge type?? they r bezels wired into the globe holders. no soldering needed if ur just replacing the bezel but does take a lil stuffing around 2 thread the wires around (not 2 hard at all) and ur right theres is just 2 globes 4 the LCD screen only.
