Default Anyone used one of these?

I have serious doubts that these things do what they are advertised as doing. If it was that simple wouldn't car manufacturing companies use them?

Is name calling really called for?

You obviously have previous experience with these vortex items. Do you recomend them?

    I wasn't name calling?

I chose not to directly name call, or insult.

    just made an observation.

and no, they don't work, I don't recommend them.. did you really have to ask that again?

There things actually have no or even a negative impact on the airflow for your car.

    1. They are a restriction on the air pipe, probably not a big one, but a restriction none the less.
    2. Look at you MAF sensor, it has a honeycomb shaped piece at the front of it, that is so the air goes over the sensors properly, otherwise you get bad readings and the car will be rough.

So basically if you install this thing, you will 'spin' the air so the MAF can straighten it out again.

You answered your own question. If a chewed up coke can could really save 30% off your fuel bill, they'd be in every car on the road.

Holden just spent millions developing direct injection for their V6 engines, active fuel management for their V8s, to save about 0.5L off their fuel figures - this thing is claiming something like 5L, a 1,000% improvement on that figure, for a couple of bucks.

What do you think the answer is?

If you really want to save money on fuel then you should walk, if that's not practical then you need to modify your B2AI* by making it lighter.

Lol I cant belive i have never heard that before...

All i see is a $2.00 piece of lasercut aluminium that will restrict air flow due to not being properly rolled and having a octagonal shape, not round, and a higher surface area than an round pipe... and a bunch of bogas claims...

    35% increase isn't that around a 60Kw increase on a stock ecotec?
    Just my 2 cents worth...

You are bidding on 1 (one) Econo-Maxx Vortex Generator designed to fit the following vehicles: Holden Berlina/Calais/Camira/Caprice
looks like a cheap intimation of a hyclone to me, even named similar
whats the difference between my missus and my blower??
