Default identify this supercharger, causes of not boosting and mod plating

hey guys just picked up my new toy. its a 98 VT exec with a intercooled supercharger setup. only prob with it is its not boosting. got it for a bargain so wasnt complaining. when accelerating, you can here it whine above 2500-3000rpm so seems to be working but no boost pressure is reading at the guage and the guy said it doesnt have that oompf that it did when it was working. needs a new belt cause of cracking. just want to know what brand so i can get it in and checked out and get it working and replace the belt. theres no markings or stamps that i can see. also it probably does but do i need to get a modplate fitted for the setup? and no of any mobile ones around ipswich or where i can take it. oh and is there anyway i can test if it does have boost apart from guage.and just to clarify with the legal side of things there is no blowoff valve fitted. looks like one was but has been welded up

Looks like it has a bypass valve on the left side of the hose that goes from the intercooler pipe to the inlet pipe. I would say this valve is jammed open.

gone over everything seems to be ok...one hose going to under the one of the pipes is bit brittle and loose will change that. took the bypass valve and and is not jammed open or closed can open it with a finger. getting plated on wednesday so will park it up and have a good check over. thinking of upgrading the charger to a better model if i can get one
