    Hey Abba..

I'm looking for a 3" single sytem, extractors back with hi flow cat (or cats) with a rear reso, for a vt2 auto.

I have one thats about 2 1/4 but uses a single factory cat, and I think it's total sh*t. Theres 90 degree bends about a foot back from the end of the extractors that are actually rippled on the inside of the bend.

The downside is it sounds pretty good. Not too loud and is more race than fart.

    Can you help ?

Yep sure. The 3" single will be $475, it comes with the Y pipe that bolts up to cats in the factory V8 position. High flow metallic cats are $220 each. Then you will also need a couple of flanges, they are $22 each. You will have to get some pipe fabricated though, from the extractors to the cats, then from the cats to the system. This is where the flanges come in, they will bolt to the system.

This system will flow very well, but it is a bit too big for the V6 and you will lose some acceleration. But if it is just sound you are after, it will be deeper and louder than the 2 1/2".

So Its a twin cat system, with a y pipe to a 3" single with muff and reso, and I need to arrange fab for extractors to cats.

    Fair enough.

Long term plan is to go for a supercharger , hence 3". I would go for a 2 3/4" if there was such a beast...

    You got it.

As far as I know there is only one place in Aus that can manufacture 2 3/4" but I can't remember who, they are in country NSW somewhere. They have the tooling to bend it.

3" will be fine for supercharged.
